Do I need a Clip?
You might not need a clip. I have sold many headwraps without clips and people have said they had no trouble with their covering slipping. That said, everyone’s hair and head is different, do what you think is best.

Ties vs. Clasp
Having ties gives the benefit of a custom fit, however some people find the ties a bit bulky, and prefer the clasp for a smoother look/feel. The clasp only allows for a small range of head size and desired looseness/tightness, so it works for some people and not for others.

Custom and personalized orders
Prices for custom headwraps are generally quite comparable to ready made ones in the shop. I love doing custom work, and it’s really easy to contact me and share what you would like.

Sizing Details
Most of my headwraps secure with ties to provide a custom fit, no matter what size your head is. Ties are 12 - 12 1/2 inches in length.
The knit headwraps that secure with clasps will fit a 20-22” size head best.
When making them with clasps, I add an extra bar to give you more of a custom fit.
Full coverage headwraps are fitted and will not fit a head size larger than 23 inches. However, I can easily custom make a larger sized one for you. Just send me a message!

Care instructions
Headwraps can be machine washed, delicate cycle is recommended, however they will survive just fine through normal wash. Hang or lay flat to dry. They will live if they end up going through the dryer though. :)

How to wear my headwraps
When putting on your headwrap, be careful not to tie it too tightly. One of the key mistakes that I myself made for years, was to tie it so tight that it started slipping off the back of my head. It should be resting on your head.
Also, placing it further forward helps it to stay on better.
All styles can be worn with hair up or hair down.

What are Ribbon and Twill Ties?
Ribbon ties are made of grograin ribbon (polyester). Twill ties are made of a woven cotton tape.
Ribbon ties are dressier/fancier and twill ties are sturdier, with better grip.
I recommend twill ties, unless you are going for a nicer look for special occasions.

Shipping
Some items are made ready to ship and some are made to order, but all should be in the mail a week.
All orders are shipped with Chit Chats Express or Canada Post.

What colour clip should I choose?
You can choose to either match the headwrap or your hair. It won't be seen, except under lace. Do whatever you like!
